Developed for Rapid Installation

We’ve created our CNG fuel system with fast-to-fit™ technology designed to deliver your trucks faster. Our system includes patent pending integrated brackets providing quick, consistent mounting on the assembly line and aftermarket.

Engineered for Fast, Accurate Fill Rates

We engineered our tanks to maximize fill rates, reserving your valuable time for the road. Our design includes oversized plumbing with fewer bends and fittings plus a high-flow ball valve. In addition, fuel flows straight from the manifold to all tanks simultaneously. You can choose optional front-bumper or passenger-side fuel ports. The system comes with both transit-fill and time-fill fuel ports.

We Also Built In Safeguards To Increase Driver Confidence and Reduce Range Anxiety

Our system features a pressure regulator which allows fuel utilization at a significantly lower PSI than many alternative systems. This lower operating pressure provides increased range compared to similar capacity systems. Our 150 DGE Back of Cab system features a range equivalent to most 160 DGE systems. The pressure regulator reduces leak points and weight, and its high-capacity filter is larger than most competitive products and designed for higher service intervals.

Our temperature-compensated fuel-level system reflects accurate gas and pressure levels so drivers won’t feel the need to make continual fuel top-offs on the road. The Electronic Control Module (ECM) converts the tank readings through the Fuel Level Interface Module (FLIM) and outputs the signal to your factory-installed fuel gauge.

A Lighter Fuel System Means Potential Savings for Your Fleet

Everything we put into Momentum’s CNG fuel systems is lighter by design. Our casings are constructed of lightweight aluminum and fiberglass composite materials with extruded aluminum in the corners, base rails and cross members. In addition, our tanks are manufactured using advanced 3M nanoparticle-enhanced matric resin technology, so they weigh 25 percent less and are 27 percent more weight/volume efficient compared to a market leader's similar sized tanks.* A lighter fuel system means less overall system weight, so you can haul more.

Aerodynamically Designed for Style

To maintain OEM aesthetics and increase fuel efficiency, we obsessed as much over the design details as we did the system functions. Curved corners, a raked top on the back-of-cab and styling lines on the side-mount system guarantee that our CNG fuel systems look as good as they perform. For instance, we included a stylish, ergonomic heavy-duty door latch designed for easy use with work gloves.

Designed for Durability

Not only is our CNG fuel system designed for style, it’s also designed for durability. Rubber isolators between the system and the truck frame rails minimize vibration and system shock, and piano hinges on doors maintain strength and durability. The electrical harnesses use heavy-duty, weatherproof Deutsch connectors with color-coded TXL wires. In addition, all of our systems come standard with neck-mounted tanks to eliminate abrasion and extend tank life.

We’ve invested millions to assure consistent quality in every system we manufacture. Our 109,000 square foot multiple assembly lines, CNG-dedicated facility features state-of-the-art machining equipment. All major system components are manufactured on-site using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma processes to help ensure repeatable accuracy and sustainable quality, minimizing supply chain delays.
